PMA Assistant Professor of the Practice Danielle Russo was invited to install her work "SINCE THOU WAST PRECIOUS IN MY SIGHT" at the National Academy of Performing Arts in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. She was selected to represent the United States in celebration of the 15th anniversary season of the COCO International Dance Festival, with live performances taking place on October 28 and 29. What is the endurance, the ceiling, the undoing of a body of trust and conviction? With an observational audience as bystander, the durational choreography explores how dance/art can be a space to confront collective ideas about resistance versus submission.
