House manager: The house manager can assist you with questions regarding parking, patron services, and house policies. While classes are in session, you can speak to the house manager by calling 607-254-ARTS Monday–Saturday, 1:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to show time (through curtain time). The house manager is on duty one hour prior to curtain through the completion of the show.
Late seating: All performances begin promptly at the advertised curtain time. To ensure the enjoyment of our patrons and in deference to the performers, latecomers will be seated at an appropriate pause in the performance (at the discretion of the house manager). Latecomer seating is limited and not guaranteed.
Accommodations: Please contact the PMA main office at 254-2700 to request special accommodations. Advance notice is necessary to arrange for some accessibility needs (e.g., assistive listening device). Due to the theatre configuration for certain performances, assistive listening devices may not be useful or appropriate.
Electronic equipment: In consideration of other patrons, the performers, and the integrity of our sound system please turn off/silence all electronic devices when you enter the theatre. If your cell phone or pager needs to be on for an emergency we ask that you exit the theatre to respond to a message. Please do not text in the theatre, as it is disruptive to other patrons and interferes with our sound system.
Cameras/recording devices: The use of cameras and/or all recording devices (including camera phones) is strictly prohibited by Actor’s Equity Association and Section 31:01 of the New York State Arts and Cultural Affairs Law. Unauthorized recording devices will be confiscated by the management.
No smoking: Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts. Please also refrain from smoking within 25’ of building entrances.
Babes in arms: Babes in arms of adults are not permitted in the theatres, except for children's shows. Also, as a courtesy to our audience members and performers, parents may be asked to remove disruptive children from the theatre.
In addition: Food and drink are prohibited in all Schwartz Center theatres.
Restrooms are located on the basement and sub-basement levels.
