Assistant Professor of the Practice Danielle Russo is an invited speaker at the 21st Annual International University Global Theatre Experience (IUGTE) Conference for global performing arts educators, with this year’s edition taking place in Laubegg Castle, Austria from July 18-22, and focused on field work and curricular investigations between tradition and contemporaneity. She will be presenting her work, “On the Practice and Pedagogy for Choreography in Site-Specific to Immersive Dance Theater,” both in lecture and embodied workshop experiences this week.
She is thrilled to bring her expertise to PMA in Fall 2024 with PMA3241, a design studio taking place on Tuesdays from 2:00pm to 4:30pm. Truly interdisciplinary, it is an excellent match for students curious in choreography, directing, playwriting, scenic design, virtual and augmented realities, sound and light mapping, mobile technologies, gaming, and performance from acting to dancing and more!
